Fast Track: On the Fast Lane to Your Master in Strategic Marketing Management

When you choose the option "Fast Track" the semester abroad is omitted and you shorten your internship period. This allows you to complete your master in Strategic Marketing Management degree on-campus in only 3 semesters and with 90 ECTS. Prerequisite: you bring 210 ECTS from your Bachelor (an alternative admission to Fast Track is possible via demonstrated work experience or by taking the ISM Pre-Master). The strategic role of marketing has become more crucial to the profitable operation and growth of businesses in recent years. In the Marketing Management Master you will learn how to stringently derive promissing marketing strategies from the findings of market research and the specifications of company management, and to plan, implement and control them in a targeted manner.

This full-time on-campus master prepares you optimally for a career as Marketing Manager. In just 4 semesters you'll acquire the tools and strategies you need to succeed in any strategic marketing, corporate communication position or to operate in cross-functional teams.

The program covers multiple subject areas under the umbrella of marketing and offers comprehensive insight into subjects like communications, sales and digital marketing, public relations, consumer behavior or data-driven market research.

During your studies you will benefit from intensive exchange with experts from the marketing communications world and conduct your own projects and marketing case-studies. The Master's in Strategic Marketing includes practice-oriented courses, an integrated 12-week practical phase and an extensive market research project to help you develop your marketing-related entrepreneurial and problem-solving skills.

E-Commerce & Social Media: Internship at Milupa

At Milupa, everything revolves around the baby and the healthy nutrition of child and mother. ISM student Ena Banovic immersed herself in this world of milk formula, baby food and nutritional supplements for a three-month internship. „It gave me a profound and contrasting insight into the professional world and the complex structures of trade marketing“, she sums the experience up. “Especially the different tasks and the support of the online marketing field made the internship very varied and diverse.”

"The university has an excellent reputation and is one of the two top business schools in South Africa. In addition, the country attracted me greatly, she says. How Can I Apply for the Master in Marketing Management?

In order to study marketing management at ISM, our university conducts an internal admission test in order to test your personality, motivation and skills. The International Management Master is not restricted by a “Numerus Clausus” (NC), so your overall skills count more than your grades. The admission test consists of preparing a short case study presentation in advance and an online interview with the program director.

The ISM graduate entered product marketing at Audi AG immediately after completing her Master's degree in Strategic Marketing Management.
