Our English-language flexible distance learning program prepares you ideally for a career in managing business processes. The program combines generic management with specializations of your choice, allowing you to delve deeper into specific areas and tailor your education to your career goals. Also, important for you to know: As a German university, we teach "German business studies" or business administration with an European understanding of economics.

If you're considering pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration Management, there are several factors to determine if it's the right fit for you. Business Administration is a generalist degree, which historically has been valuable because it keeps doors open, something especially useful when you’re still figuring things out.

You have three different options for completing the program:

1. 100% online (Digital Track),

Here you can choose eight electives (out of 12) and study as flexibly as possible: you decide which subjects fit best and when you study them.

2. One semester at the ISM Campus Berlin or Dortmund (On-Campus Track). 
Choose five electives (out of 10) and study a full-time semester from mid-September at our beautiful campus.

3. Study online with an additional internship (Practical Track). Here you can choose two electives (out of 12) and earn 30 ECTS (= one semester) by completing an internship. In this way, you gain practical experience alongside your flexible studies. 

As seen above, depending on the path chosen, the number of elective modules varies. This allows you to customize and flexibly structure your studies. From marketing to financial management to an introduction to psychology, you choose the focus areas you want to have in your studies.

You have three different options for completing the distance learning program and the costs are also different, depending wheather you study full-time or part-time.

• If you study full-time, you will likely finalize your studies in six semester.
• If you study part-time fast, you can graduate in nine semesters.
• If you study part-time slow, the Bachelor studies will be completed in 12 semesters.

1. Digital Track (100% online),
Price full-time: 13,320 € (plus 600 Euro for registration and thesis fee)

2. On-Campus Track - One semester at the ISM Campus Berlin or Dortmund
Price full-time: 16,800 € (plus 600 Euro for enrolment and thesis fee) (already incl. here is the 3,480 € additional fee for your semester on campus)

3. Practical Track - you study online and enjoy an additional internship
Price full-time: 11,820 € (plus 600 Euro for enrolment and thesis fee) (for this program the tuition fees are reduced by 1,500 €)

During your internship you only pay 120 €/month or, if you receive credit points for recognition of a previous internship, a one-off 720 €).

Exams in the ISM Business Administration distance learning program are designed to be flexible. You can take exams either online from home or - only if you wish so - at one of the exam centers located at our campuses. There are both traditional written exams and other exam formats such as term papers, case studies, or presentations. This ensures that you don’t just memorize information, but apply practical knowledge. ISM also provides study and preparation materials and support to ensure you are fully prepared for the exams.
