Campus Dortmund

Study in the Heart of the Ruhrgebiet

The campus of the private university in Dortmund was founded in 1990 and, with around 930 students, is the largest of the ISM’s locations. It is located in the middle of the technology park only 15 minutes from the city center. In recent years, Dortmund has developed from the former coal and steel city to a modern technology location. As the largest city in Westphalia and the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region, Dortmund is one of the most dynamic new economic cities in Germany.

Why study in Dortmund?

The pride of the city is the BVB, but Dortmund has more to offer than the famous soccer club Borussia Dortmund (BVB). Among the most popular destinations are the art museum "Dortmunder U", the German Football Museum, the Westfalenpark, the Lake Phoenix and the Dortmund city center. The student life here consists not only of lectures and learning. Discover Dortmund's districts with restaurants, lively pubs, cozy cafes and many great shopping opportunities. The Westfalenhallen is also a landmark for fair trades, international events and music concerts. When it comes to universities, Dortmund finds itself in the list of the ten largest German university cities.
