The campus of our ISM private university in Dortmund, with around 900 students, is located in the middle of the Technology Park area, only 15 minutes from the city center. In recent decade, Dortmund has developed from the former coal and steel city to a modern technology location. As the largest city in Westphalia and the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region, Dortmund is one of the most dynamic new economic cities in Germany.

ISM is recognized at the highest international level by the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and is the only private German University of Applied Sciences holding the prestigious AACSB accreditation. This is an important international seal of quality which certifies excellence in research and teaching. The key requirements for receiving the prestigious accreditation are: highest quality in teaching, committed lecturers who proactively support students, successful cooperation with companies and international universities as well as very good career entry opportunities for graduates. What part-time degree programs are offered in Dortmund?
At ISM dortmund campus the majority of study programs offered in English are full-time programs. However, you can study the part-time MBA program here at campus Dortmund while working. Here, the clases take place once per month, usually from Friday until Sunday.
If you are fluent in German, we also have part-time programs offered, which are taught in German combined with English. These include 9 Master's specializations and 5 Bachelor's specializations. For more information, please visit our German website.
What financing options are available at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences?
ISM Dortmund University of Applied Sciences offers numerous financing options to help students cover the costs of their studies. Both internal and external scholarship programs are available, which are awarded on the basis of merit or need. ISM also cooperates with banks to offer special student loans with favorable conditions for students. Payment of tuition fees in installments is also possible in order to

The Dortmunder-Volksbank-Foundation awards for each - spring and fall term - a semester abroad scholarship in the amount of 2500 Euro unique to 4th semester (Bachelor) or 3rd semester (Master) students of ISM in Dortmund. In the 3rd Bachelor semester and 2nd Master semester the students choose from the university network of the ISM another university, where they spend their integrated term abroad.
