Fast Track: On the Fast Lane

When you choose the option "Fast Track" the semester abroad is omitted and you shorten your internship period. This allows you to complete your master in finance degree on-campus in only 3 semesters and with 90 ECTS. Prerequisite: you bring 210 ECTS from your Bachelor (an alternative admission to Fast Track is possible via demonstrated work experience or by taking the ISM Pre-Master). Moritz Petri spent five months at Boston University for his study abroad semester during his Finance Master. The US-fan also used the proximity to Canada, New York, Washington and Chicago to discover the country. "We really experienced a lot and had a lot of fun," says Petri. How Can I Apply for a Master in Finance?

In order to pursue a Finance Master degree at ISM, the university conducts an internal admission exam. This tests your personality as well as your motivation and skills. The Master of Finance is not restricted by a “Numerus Clausus” (NC).

The admission test consists of preparing a short case study presentation in advance and an online interview with the program director.

ISM Awards DAAD Prize

For more than ten years, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has been awarding outstanding achievements of foreign students at German universities. 21-year-old Annika Razroeva graduated from the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow with a bachelor's in Economics, Statistics and Accounting and then specifically searched for an international finance degree abroad. Since fall semester 2018/2019 she is studying M.Sc. Finance at the ISM in Dortmund.
