Your semester abroad in finance studies

With the Bachelor in Finance & Management you get to know the international financial markets. The B.Sc. includes an integrated semester abroad in Europe in the fourth semester. If you study entirely in English, you can spend your semester abroad overseas. During the semester abroad, you will acquire valuable intercultural and language skills in addition to international financial knowledge.

The choice of university is up to you. ISM's university network includes around 190 partner universities worldwide. You can choose from an extensive university network (PDF) when studying finance during your semester abroad. Your academic achievements are fully credited so that you don't lose any time and keep to the standard period of study.

In the Global Track, you also have the opportunity to spend a second, optional semester abroad. In addition to the first semester abroad within Europe, you can complete an additional semester overseas. This allows you to expand your specialist knowledge and further develop your language and intercultural skills.

Financing your semester abroad

ISM students can apply for a variety of scholarships and grants for their compulsory semester or internship abroad. Some examples include the Erasmus+ program, Feline Holidays scholarship or different DAAD programs. The International Office is available to help with the application and counselling regarding these financing options.
