Study Business Informatics - Become an Expert in Business Administration & IT
With the Bachelor in Information Systems you will acquire exciting knowledge in the fields of business & information processing systems. Whether Programming, Hacking & IT Security or E-Business - the Bachelor of Business Informatics brings you closer to various subject areas and thus combines the basics of business administration with current trends & challenges of business informatics.
If you are studying Business Informatics, your studies will be strongly oriented towards the current industry change with consulting projects, workshops and experienced lecturers from the business world. What exactly does a Data Scientist do?
Huge amounts of data are created through the multitude of interactions. Companies have realized that data is a key success factor. Customer information such as purchase behavior, transactional, demographic and geographic data helps companies optimize and target customer experiences. At Acxiom, the ISM students were able to learn about digital data consulting and the use of geo-coordinates or cluster analyses. An exciting insight into the many ways to analyze, combine and use data.

Studying business informatics means not only acquiring business knowledge, but also understanding structures and processes on an international level.
In order to prepare you for an international career as a Business Informatics Specialist, the Business Informatics Bachelor Program includes
- intensive language training with English as the lecture language as well as optional lectures in French or Spanish,
- an integrated semester abroad at one of around 190 partner universities, and
- an optional second semester abroad.

How Can I Apply?
To gain entry to the Information Systems program you can simply take an entrance test at the university which tests your abilities, motivation and personality structure.
