Admission requirements for Master's in Berlin

Documents required to apply

To qualify for a Master's program in Berlin at ISM, please submit the following documents when applying online:

Bachelor's degree certificate (if available)
Transcript of records
Curriculum vitae (CV)
Copy of passport or national ID card
Certificate of English language skills, for example TOEFL, IELTS or other internationally recognized English certificate (min. level B2). For more information, contact our study advisors.

Application period and timeframes

ISM does not have strict application dates, but applicants who require a study visa please submit your application by

June 15th for the programs starting in fall.
Please also get informed from your country' consulate how long the study visa application process currently takes and prepare acordingly.

The admission test is valid for 1 year, so we recommend that you start applying even before having your final Bachelor's degree copy in order to save time and secure yourself a study fee discount of 1,500 Euro.

Upload all documents and certificates required. Please provide all relevant information about your academic and personal background, such as your resume, transcript of records, high school leaving certificate, Bachelor’s degree certificate or proof of English knowledge (if available).

Step 3

Personal selection interview incl. presentation

The admission process also includes preparing a presentation and a structured online selection interview.
The online interview will focus on your personal background, your goals, and your motivation for studying.

Step 4

Admission and enrollment

After successfully completing the application process, you will receive a letter of admission and, subsequently, your study contract.
