ISM future concepts for the automotive industry: How could Porsche change by 2030?
The car is increasingly becoming a moving computer. How will the digital transformation affect the product portfolio of the long-established sports car manufacturer Porsche in 2030? This question was addressed by Frankfurt ISM students at the guest event with alumnus Sebastian Besser from the management consultancy MHP - A Porsche Company.
The task was not an easy one. For example, the ISM students created a future concept for the Porsche brand based on an analysis of the current situation and the competition. "For example, we looked at where potential for improvement can be identified at Porsche and how the market as a whole will change in the future," explains Emelie Fischer, who is studying International Management in the 5th semester. The students were able to present their concept for the future to Peter Caracciolo, Partner at MHP and Office Head of the Frankfurt office. "The final presentation was a super practical way to prepare us even better for our future professional life," Emelie is convinced.
The students' concepts were also exciting for an experienced manager, as Sebastian Besser assured. The ISM alumnus also studied International Management at ISM and is a successful project manager at MHP: "We were so impressed by the ideas and achievements of the ISM students that we offered the participants to contact us if they were interested in starting a job at MHP."
