Best Thesis Award for Patrick Baretto's master's thesis
Management as value-oriented practice - Patrick Baretto, former International Management master's student at ISM and now project manager and research scholar at OTH Amberg-Weiden, was honored with the Best Thesis Award. In his thesis entitled “Management History: A Search for Holism, Meaning, and the Future,” he examined the development of a management framework based on Foucauldian and normative principles.
The result is a conceptual architecture that enables both science and practice to address highly complex, ethically sensitive, and socially relevant challenges.
“Some theses solve problems. Others create intellectual infrastructure—and set standards,” says Prof. Dr. Qeis Kamran, Professor of Business Administration and Strategic Management at ISM.
