The ISM Campus in Cologne was founded in the 2014/2015 fall semester and is located at Mediapark 5c. The new premises meet the private business school's overall requirements, boasting a modern architectural design as well as a pleasant atmosphere, thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows which bathe the seminar rooms in light.

All in all, the ISM will be leasing over 2,000 square feet in floor space, which will be sufficient to cater for up to 600 students over the medium term. The Cologne Campus comprises ten seminar and conference rooms, a library and study, and a student lounge, not to mention office space for facilities such as the registrar's office, the campus management and the student advisors.

Cologne's Mediapark has made quite a name for itself beyond the Cathedral City, and it is extremely well served by public transportation. It is also located in the immediate vicinity of a host of enterprises that will be a valuable source of internships or company talks at the ISM, besides offering ample parking. Last but not least, the Mediapark area boasts a smorgasbord of interesting restaurants and cafes where students can relax and unwind.

City of Cologne

With more than 1 million inhabitants, Cologne is an attractive base for internationally minded businesses. Companies from a wide variety of industries have made Cologne their home over the past decades, beginning with the carmaker Ford, the city's number 1 employer. The REWE grocery chain and numerous subsidiaries, the AXA insurance group and the chemicals firms Lanxess and Bayer are also attractive among students seeking internships and their first jobs, as are the numerous media companies based in the city. Yet the catchment area extends far beyond Cologne's city limits. Leverkusen, Bonn and the entire Rhineland account for roughly 4 million inhabitants, making the greater Cologne area one of Europe's most vibrant metropolitan regions.
