One semester in Athens
The Greek government's austerity measures are causing great indignation among the population. Demonstrations and strikes are on the increase, the situation is tense. ISM student Efthimios Tsoupis was not deterred by this. He spent a semester abroad in Athens.
"I was born in Greece and after a one-month internship in Athens I definitely wanted to live there again for a longer period of time," said the 21-year-old. That's why he decided to spend a semester abroad at the Athens University of Economics and Business.
"I had five subjects, including a language course in Greek. The entire course was taught in English," explains Tsoupis, who is studying International Management at ISM Dortmund B.A.. He had a lot of contact with the other Erasmus students - from Germany, but also from Spain, France, Sweden and Belgium.
