The ISM Munich team was thrilled to see Camilla (centre) receive her award from the DAAD.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has been awarding a prize to international students at German universities for over ten years. The DAAD presented the award, worth €1,000, to Camilla Slethaug for her academic achievements and involvement in social extra-curricular activities.

The ISM student was delighted: “I think it’s an incentive for students to become involved in student activities as well as other activities away from the university. It’s nice to see that hard work is appreciated.” The 25-year-old Norwegian completed her bachelor’s degree at Griffith University (Australia). She then decided to do her master’s in Finance at ISM Munich. Camilla spent her semester abroad at Boston University. Besides participating in the Finance and Investment Club at Boston University, she also helped organise events for Norwegian students in Munich.
