Students and representatives of ISM partner universities discussed many interesting questions at the International Day.

International focus – not only means foreign language lessons and a semester abroad, but also ongoing exchange between partner universities, academics and students. We were therefore delighted to hold the first ever International Day at ISM Frankfurt/Main, which allowed about 20 partner universities to present opportunities and give advice to students.

Which course can I attend while studying abroad? Where can I live close to the university? Students were able to discuss these questions and many more issues with representatives of the respective universities. Members of staff of the various partner universities came from around the globe, including Australia and Norway, to join up at the event. The available options for a semester abroad are wide and varied – when studying overseas, ISM students can choose from 175 partner universities.

“Each year, roughly 1,000 ISM students study abroad,” explained ISM Managing Director Prof. Dr. Ingo Böckenholt at the opening of the event. “The International Day provides them with the opportunity to discover everything they would like to know about their semester abroad.” The International Day was organised by the International Office. Robyn Vuillemot from Monash University was also delighted and said: “A wonderful event for students.”
