"What impressed me most about the programme was that the lecturers and professors came from a number of different countries around the world. The topics of the lectures were therefore looked at from different cultural perspectives. This, together with the opportunity to study abroad, created cultural added value, in particular, and encouraged us to broaden our personal and professional horizons."

Hero Goldhammer realised at an early stage that he wanted to study for an MBA after completing his undergraduate course. After joining the internal sales team at HELLA KGaA Hueck & Co, a structured course and easy planning were his main criteria when choosing a postgraduate programme. He eventually decided to study MBA General Management, as he was very impressed with its high level of practical content and international focus.

"For me personally, MBA General Management is the ideal foundation for my further professional development. I have often heard that the degree is well regarded by employers and will give me the best academic grounding. And the added practical experience will be excellent preparation for the next stages of my career."

Hero particularly enjoyed the course-related coaching modules which allow participants to brush up their soft skills with the help of experienced coaches. He believes the opportunity to reflect upon one's own skills and views and to receive feedback is particularly valuable, especially when embarking on a career in management.

He advises future students not to underestimate the level of commitment required on a part-time course and to incorporate their employers into the study plan in advance. This enhances the work-study balance and allows you to become more involved in the course, excursions and cultural exchange.
