"What particularly impressed me about the program was that the lecturers and professors came from many different countries around the world. This allowed the topics of the lectures to be examined from different cultural perspectives. Together with the stays abroad, we were offered a special cultural added value, which broadened our professional and personal horizons".
For Hero Goldhammer, it was clear relatively early on that he wanted to follow his bachelor's degree with an MBA. After his successful career start in the technical sales department at HELLA KGaA Hueck & Co, a structured process and good planning were particularly important to him when selecting the program. His decision fell on the MBA General Management, which also convinced him with its high practical relevance and international orientation.
"For me, the MBA General Management is the ideal basis for my further professional development. In the meantime, I have often received feedback that the degree is very well recognized in practice and that I am therefore well educated academically. With further practical experience I am well prepared for the next career steps."
Goldhammer especially liked the coaching during my studies, where participants work with experienced coaches on their soft skills. He finds the opportunity to reflect on oneself and to receive continuous feedback very valuable, especially for participants at the beginning of a management position.
He advises future students not to underestimate the costs of an extra-occupational course of study and to include the employer in the planning process beforehand. This increases the compatibility of study and career and helps to get involved in studies, excursions and exchanges with other cultures.
