A close look at the Berlin real estate market

The real estate sector is growing throughout Germany, and Berlin in particular is experiencing a real estate boom. The Master students of the Real Estate Management course at ISM Munich spent three days in the capital to check out the situation on the ground. Meetings with big names were on the agenda. In addition to a lecture on "Real Estate and Sustainability" in Deloitte's innovation lab and a design thinking workshop at SAP, they also went on a prime location city tour with Lührmann Projektmanagement. The group also paid a visit to Ernst & Young Real Estate, the cooperation partner of the Real Estate Management course. This gave them a comprehensive insight into the Berlin real estate market and behind the scenes of the industry.

At home in left-hand traffic:  experiencing something new in Scotland

A semester abroad is the perfect opportunity for new experiences. Michael Angermeir thought so too: he set off by car towards Amsterdam, took the ferry to Newcastle and made it to Edinburgh in left-hand traffic. "After less than ten minutes, I had got used to driving on the left and was driving like I was at home," reports the Munich real estate management student.

At partner university Edinburgh Napier University, Michael studied Building Economics, Strategic Management and Real Estate Valuation. In addition to the subjects, the university particularly impressed him with its digital focus and its own university app.
