Study Profile Qualifier Semester
For students who intend to study B.Sc. International Management and still want or have to improve their English language skills, ISM has designed a qualifier semester. With four English courses which bring you from a B1 level to B2, Mathematics and Introduction to German Culture students are well prepared to start the academic International Management program. Thus, there is a smooth entry into the first International Management semester. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to get acquainted well with ISM’s offer.
In addition to a preparation course in mathematics and an introduction to german culture, the following modules are included:
- Preparation course Mathematics
- Introduction to German Culture
- Business English B1 to B2 (4 courses, 12 ECTS)
- German 1 (3 ECTS)
- Introduction to business administration, procurement & production (2.5 ECTS)
- Marketing (2.5 ECTS)
- Scientific Methods (2 ECTS)
Moreover, 10 ECTS of the first semester are already part of the Qualifier semester and will be credited towards the International Management program.
Prerequisites for application
To qualify for this program you first need to have successfully completed your school with a school leaving certificate, which entitles you to study at a university directly in your home country and an English level of B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Additionally, you will have to take part in a multi-level admissions test (written and oral).
Entry to B.Sc. International Management
After attending the ISM Qualifier Semester successfully, you can study the program B.Sc. International Management offered at the ISM’s campuses Dortmund, Frankfurt/Main, Munich, Hamburg, Cologne, Stuttgart and Berlin. After graduation, you will be granted a German Bachelor’s degree.
