Cruises or supply chains – Maritime Career Talk
Studying in Hamburg - what could be more natural than a career in the maritime sector? At the Maritime Business and Career Talk, ISM students could get to know the various job opportunities of the field, like logistics, port management or cruises. International Management student Haylie Wanamaker was inspired by the event: “What I liked most was the variety of speakers and topics covered. The maritime business is an international business, networking across the globe and something I will definitely be interested in pursuing further.”
Students from International Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Luxury Fashion & Sales Management and Psychology & Management were also present at the talk. After the keynotes by TUI Cruises, Frachtcontor und MSC Germany, they could ask questions about working in the maritime sector and network with the companies. The event allowed me to connect firsthand with experienced professionals in maritime business”, comments logistics student Daulet Orazbek.
