In order to bring the dynamism and innovative power of start-ups to German and international companies, the consulting firm Deloitte has founded its own digital unit. In this way, the company supports companies in their digitization strategy and the development of digital business models. During the financial management studies, an excursion took the students to Deloitte's headquarters to take a closer look at the concept.

Increasing digitalization will significantly shape and change business models. Deloitte Digital is engaged in a fast and efficient digital transformation for large enterprises - from the analysis of the existing digital concept to the development of new solutions and the introduction. In various lectures on the subject of "Digital being a new Era", financial management students learned how the job profile of a management consultant changes.

Afterwards, the students became active themselves and demonstrated their own innovative ability. The aim of the Deloitte Innovation Challenge was to develop a digital product in the areas of tax, consulting and audit that they would sell to Deloitte. The students had to develop strategic recommendations for action, which they finally presented in a competition.
