It was always important for Robert Kelm to find a job that would excite him. As a Director in the Institutional Private Clients team at HSBC Germany, an international commercial bank, the 33-year-old not only meets exciting personalities, but also projects from a wide range of disciplines. "I look after high-net-worth families, asset managers and institutional investors," says the former ISM graduate, who graduated from ISM Dortmund with a diploma in Finance & Asset Management and subsequently completed a Master of Laws.

The special thing about his job as a director is the variety. The HSBC Group has a network in 66 countries. This is also reflected in the support we provide to wealthy private clients. "Our clients appreciate our integration into the Group. But that also means that you have to familiarize yourself extremely quickly with various topics and issues," says Robert.

"We work together with specialists from different countries and specialist areas, while at the same time achieving high-quality results in a short time. That's what customers expect from us, as employees do. Discretion is also of particular importance in our field."

During his studies, Robert not only received a lot of content relevant for his current job, but also valuable practical experience, which optimally prepared him for the world of work. "The time I spent studying at ISM gave me a taste of 'real' life".
