Lena Nagel chose to spend a semester at USB Stellenbosch in Cape Town due to its academic portfolio. "The university has an excellent reputation and is one of the top two business schools in South Africa. And I had always been fascinated by the country itself," explains Lena Nagel, who is studying for a Masters in Marketing at ISM Dortmund. The course at USB Stellenbosch was very exacting. "The academic staff were extremely helpful, but put high expectations on the students. I really liked the course and had lots of fun there.

The atmosphere was extremely pleasant and studying down by the ocean in the sun is definitely easier than under the grey skies of Dortmund," Lena says with a smile. The 26-year-old has returned home with a lot of positive impressions. "I was enrolled on the MBA programme at USB Stellenbosch and I gained so much knowledge in a relatively short space of time. I now have a more open approach to life in general, that's something I definitely learned in Africa."
