Application Procedure at the ISM

To qualify for this M.Sc. program you first need to have successfully completed your first study program with a minimum study period of six semesters and have achieved a final grade

  • at a university or
  • an equivalent foreign higher education institution, and
  • you need to submit your application documents.

Additionally, you will have to take part in a multi-level admissions test (written and oral).

Normally, your first degree should have been in a subject that covered the topics of business studies and/or economics. Applications from graduates in other subjects with a predominant share of economics will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

You must have at least 30 ECTS points for examinations in business or economics-related subjects. If you have studied a non-economic bachelor or are missing some quantitative ECTS-points, ISM offers a Pre-Master program to prepare for this study. We check this individually.

Please register for the written admissions test either online or in writing using the application form. We will then write you to confirm your registration stating the date of your personal admissions test.

International applicants who require a visa for studying in Germany must submit their application documents by the 15. June of the same year.
